Corporate Social Responsibility
We at Waljis Travel Bureau see it as an important part of our responsibility to foster the development and well-being of our employees, ensure productive relationships with all of our stakeholders, protect the environment and be good citizens in the communities in which we operate.
Principles of ethical and safe conduct, coupled with our core values and a sense of corporate citizenship, provide the framework which guides both in our business activities and CSR initiatives.
We have taken quite a number of initiatives to assist the less fortunate ones, the likes of having lunch with orphans in Tanzania, economically empowering the physically challenged, visiting and supporting the autistic centre. We have also built wells to provide water to those who need it through the help of Aqua Cool, our sister company. Under, the flagship of Aqua Cool, we have supplied water to sportsmen and women by offering free pure drinking water to participants of tennis tournaments and other sporting activities. We are constantly reviewing our CSR policy to ensure people benefit the most out of it, at the moment we have resolved to channel 2% of our income to projects under the CSR initiative.
